Forward in Faith Australia was launched in Brisbane at Easter 1999, replacing the Association of Apostolic Ministry and Traditional Anglicans in Queensland.

It has members in all States, with the bulk of its activity centred on the major cities.

It became Forward in Faith Australia Inc, an incorporated body, in 2007.
