Forward in Faith UK was founded in November 1992. Its members are to be found in all parts of the British Isles, as well as in mainland Europe, in the Diocese of Gibraltar in Europe.

Local FiF organisations are active throughout England and in 1997 the traditionalist group in Scotland joined forces to become FiF UK.

In 2003 Credo Cymru in Wales also made formal links with FiF UK.
